Reclaiming the Sacredness of the Female Body with the Artist Amiel

Episode Summary

The artist Amiel paints the intimate geography of a woman's most sacred body part - the vulva. Her work involves a deeply creative process undertaken with each individual woman that is ultimately about much more than than a single piece of art - in her words, it's about reclaiming the profaned landscape of women’s erotic bodies. On this episode, we talk about the sacred nature of women's sexuality, Amiel's process and experience painting women from all over the world, and how our individual acts of courage and self-compassion benefit women everywhere.
