Honoring the Cycles of the Moon with April McMurtry

Episode Summary

Most of us tend to think of time as linear, with a definitive beginning and end point. But our ancestors once tracked time with the cycles of the moon, experiencing it as a circle instead. What can we learn by reclaiming this lunar vision of time and a cyclical view of life? Quite a lot, according to my guest, April McMurtry. April is the founder of The Moon is My Calendar, a movement to share the moon’s medicine by planting seeds of intention, witnessing, reflecting, and creating mandalas. On this episode, we discuss how to recalibrate our sense of time with the natural progression of the lunar cycle, and how this can contribute to our overall well-being.
